for eating Musketeers bars
four hundred and five…
his greed brings him a trophy
two days locked in the bathroom

 

 


Judge’s Comments:
In just twenty-five words, the author manages to paint a perfect picture that features at least one of the Seven Deadly Sins, while simultaneously playing off our contest’s own name—well done! This piece may be funny, but it impresses and entertains with its simplicity.
